Getting Real

Ive spent some time recently reassessing the needs and necessity for my Spiritual practice and although I will continue with this on a personal level I have come to realise that my Mental Health experiences are of even more importance and urgency than those of a Spiritual persuasion. Ive entitled this blog post 'Getting Real' because this is about clarity, trasparencey and truth. From this point forward I will be blogging about Our current mental health paradigm, mental health advocacy and opening a conversation promoting the possibility of a new mental health paradigm. To make this more accessible I will exchange the word paradigm for 'model'. We have a current model of understanding which shapes our lives as people who have had an experience with our mental health and the primary purpose of this website will now be to explore this model and express alternatives for those who are open to hearing my message.
